What Are Communities Of Learners?
Members of a learning community identify and design their work as trust and understanding of purpose is established. In Year 1 of the kid∙FRIENDLy Communities, we have two goals:
GOAL 1: To Deepen Leaders’ Understanding Of The kid∙FRIENDLy Key Drivers
- Communities of Practice
(Learning for Student Empowerment – Learning for Digital Natives – Learning for Real World Application) - Student Agency
- College and Career Readiness Services
- Childcare Partnerships
GOAL 2: To Collaborate In The Identification And Development Of Other Innovative Practices For Personalizing Learning For All Learners
Participants will learn through shared presentations, visitations, reading, virtual connections, smaller focus groups specific to topic, and more – all to expand our understanding and vision of the most important next levels of work in our schools.
